ACT: UK LETTER Re: Raising money for post-mortem research into ME/CFS

PERMISSION TO FORWARD, RE POST AND USE IN NEWSLETTERS

Thanks to Dr Charles Shepherd, of the ME Association, for this link

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1223048/Former-army-capta=
ins-bid-man-walk-entire-length-Amazon-River.html

and information which he says may be reposted

'Accused of murder, chased by tribes armed with bows and arrows, and now
facing starvation: How a British soldier's bid to be first to walk the
Amazon is in danger'

Ed Stafford, adventurer, former Army Captain and son of MEA trustee Barbara
Stafford, is walking the entire length of the River Amazon to help raise
money - over =A35,000 so far - for our post-mortem and tissue bank research
initiative.

I wish to add that the Vikki Rimmer who gets a mention is the one-time PR
for Phil Parker who, though she is no longer with them, still promotes the
Lightning Process at every opportunity. I hope she does not have any say in
how Ed's money is spent. Some people may make this point in their letters.

The Daily Mail is good at doing "Letters specials" if it gets enough (it di=
d
for the Lightning Process with 11).
Come on, we can do it.

Any letters in response should be sent to e-mail address

Please do send a letter in reply if you can manage it to the e-mail address
given above as the more of us who submit one, the greater chance of at leas=

like this very often.
