be eliminated as a diagnosis? The CFSAC recommendations and the
Pandora/Coalition 4 ME/CFS proposal to code ME and CFS together
in the ICD will basically eliminate ME as a diagnosis. Other than as an
academic exercise, why work on definitions or comparisons as ME would
no longer exist as a diagnosis. Examining the outcome before trying to
eliminate this possibility would have been a better approach.
These very same people create that which they then complain about.
What was proposed by Pandora and the Coalition for ME/CFS
codifies the merging of the two. But then they complain about the results.
ME=CFS=ME/CFS mixed terminology and meanings produce the same
mixed cohorts which have created the problems all along and have produced
no real results or progress for patients. We are going the way of the UK, which
these groups are trying to create. This is what Wessely does. It allows psychiatrists
to study chronic fatigue and pretend to be studying ME. So come full circle, create
phony "ME" groups that are really about CFS.
There will be no progress for ME patients. Do not support ME/CFS or CFS/ME
groups or research or participate in such studies.
