Well done to everyone who voted in the contest.
The Whittemore Peterson Institute for Neuro-Immune Disease (WPI) won
one of the regional prizes of $100,000.
The full list of winners is below.

The WPI obtained 70,626 votes over the marathon contest (Round 2
lasted 75 days and one could vote once each day); or 942 votes per
day.
I don't have the final votes for the other groups to hand but I think
it would work out that approximately 1100 votes per day were given for
ME-type charities.
A lot of people voted every day or close to it, helped in particular
by reminder E-mails and the like from Facebook events. I don't know
how many different individuals voted.
But the number of families involved in voting for ME-type charities
may even be less than 1100 as in quite a lot of families more than one
person voted (e.g. in my family, five people voted).
Anyway, it shows that these voting contests have great potential to
raise money. Earlier in the year, people will recall that the WPI won
$65,000 in Chase Community Giving and the CFIDS Association of America
won $25,000.
Last year, PANDORA won $20,000 in Chase Community Giving. Both Chase
Community Giving and Vivint are regular contests i.e. there will be
opportunities in the future, although with Chase Community Giving a
non-profit can only win once.
I don't intend highlighting on Co-Cure all the different voting
contests as I have a lot of responsibilities and am not following all
the details that closely (I might Tweet/re-tweet details of more
contests - @TomKindlon on Twitter - as that involves less work.
I would recommend that people interested in such contests join the
recently formed Facebook group, ME (ME/CFS) Fundraising Group,
http://on.fb.me/pwmfo1 i.e.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/115200951912652/ .
Opportunities are being spotted in other countries.
