NOT: Final hour of Chase Giving, $100,000 for ME/CFS at Stake

In the final few hours, of the Chase Community Giving contest, it all boils
down to this:

Is one's dislike of Facebook and the confusing rules of the Chase contest
going to prevent $100,000 from being donated to ME/CFS organizations?

There are four very fine organizations, dedicated to serving those afflicted
with ME/CFS who desperately need your help . . .

And all it's going to take is likely to for 200 or 300 of the people who
receive this message to act NOW!

Those are the facts, now it's up to you. Will you vote? Will you ask your
friends to vote? Or, will you not take action?

The contest ends at noon today (EST).

As reported yesterday, there are three ME/CFS organizations which appear
likely to win $25,000 but even that is not certain. At this moment, those
organizations, their Chase profile page and their latest vote totals are:

* American Association for CFS, Inc. (IACFS/ME) http://bit.ly/s48mcK

I would GUESS that the cut off line for the top 100 is likely to be around.

I urge you, in spite of the general distrust of Facebook and the confusing
rules of the contest, to consider voting for these organizations as $100,000
in support of service to those afflicted with ME/CFS is involved.

There are two other organizations which are currently well behind the top
100. They are:

* Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Fibromyalgia Org. of GA

If you are yet to vote in the contest, or have any remaining votes, I urge
you to vote for these two organizations as well. The chances of their
winning are not great, but their gratitude for all the support they can
muster would be great.

To Vote:

(1) A Facebook page is required. If you don't have one - get a Facebook
<http://www.facebook.com/> page. (You can easily delete it after the
contest if you wish.)

(2) Sign into your Facebook Page and then go to the Chase
<http://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiving/?ref=ts> Community Giving
page and click the button at the top of the page.)

(3) Either type in the names of the orgs you want to vote for or use the
URLS posted above to vote for your favorite organizations.
