FDA gives tentative approval for Lupin generic Lyrica

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has given
tentative approval to Lupin Pharmaceuticals' (LPI)
Pregabalin capsules, 25mg, 50mg, 75mg, 100mg, 150mg,
200mg, 225mg and 300mg.

The Pregabalin capsules are the generic version of
Lyrica capsules of CP Pharmaceuticals.

Lyrica (Pregabalin) capsules are indicated as a
treatment of neuropathic pain linked with diabetic
peripheral neuropathy, post herpetic neuralgia,
adjunctive therapy for adult patients with partial
onset seizures and fibromyalgia.
