ICF adds public health pro to oversee CDC account
Contractor sees appointment as bolstering its public health work

ICF International Inc. has named Mike Greenwell to the position of
vice president responsible for the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention account.

Healthcare is a strategic growth area for ICF, and the CDC in
particular is an agency in which ICF anticipates significant growth,
according to an August 15 ICF announcement.

Greenwell, a public health and communications professional, has
extensive experience in health and risk communication across the
federal government and the health care industry.

He supported the CDC as a consultant for eight years while serving as
vice president of marketing and health communication at Danya
International in Atlanta.

Additionally, as a CDC employee, he served 14 years as the
communications director for the CDC=92s National Center for Chronic
Disease Prevention and Health Promotion and the Agency for Toxic
Substances and Disease Registry.

Greenwell serves on numerous boards including for the American Heart
Association and the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association. He also has
served as a senior consultant to the Arthritis Foundation, Chronic
Fatigue and Immune Deficiency Syndrome Association, and the
Interstitial Cystitis Association.

ICF International Inc., of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 64 on Washington
Technology=92s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government
contractors.
