Clarification of Chase Community Giving Works

Please Repost!

Dear Friends,

Without our knowledge, someone submitted our charity's name to the Chase
Community Giving Works. There are some who also voted for us on a Facepage
site that we did not put up ourselves. The National CFIDS Foundation has
told the Chase Community Giving Works to delete our charity from any further
competitive endeavor for funding and we have been informed that they would
relay our request to the proper channels.

We hope no patients waste their vote for this. Because we only fund
research that we feel would advance the science already proven in this illness
in order to expose the cause of CFIDS/ME, we purposely keep a low profile
and do not wish to participate in any endeavor that would bring us publicity
of any kind.

The National CFIDS Foundation is not participating in the Chase Community
Giving Works and no patient should waste their vote via the latest Giving
program nor did we put anything on Facebook ourselves for our charitable
foundtion. Our members have been given the reasons for this in their fall
edition of our newsletter, The National Forum in my "President's Message".

For better health,

Gail Kansky
